Unlock Your Child's Potential with the
"Your Gifted Child" Empowerment Series!
Elevate your parenting journey with our transformative workshop series, proudly supporting Bendwood School's SPIRAL Program!
Discover the joy of nurturing your exceptional child's unique brilliance with our uplifting, honest, and empowering sessions. Dive deep into strategies that not only cultivate their extraordinary talents, but also build their confidence and strengthen your bond, fostering a relationship built on understanding and mutual respect.

Raising an out-of-the-box child is not easy, and I want you to feel confident in how to raise your child that is "too much"... too disorganized, too anxious, too talkative, too sensitive, too boisterous, too withdrawn, too smart for their own good, etc.

With each ticket purchase, you're not only investing in your child's future, but also directly contributing to enriching educational experiences at our school.

***100% of the proceeds go towards keeping Bentwood's SPIRAL program open!***

Don't wait another moment to ignite your child's potential! Reserve your spot now for live sessions or enjoy the convenience of accessing recorded content at your own pace. Embrace the journey of raising a gifted child with confidence, love, and joy and don't miss out on an opportunity to join a community full of parents on the same journey!
What’s this fundraiser all about?
Everyone's invited! All proceeds from this workshop series will be donated to the Spring Branch Educational Fund to support the SPIRAL Gift & Talented Program currently hosted at Bendwood School for the 2024-2025 school year.

Sadly, the SPIRAL program lost its funding during district budget cuts last month, so many parents across the district are actively fundraising to support the program.

The majority of the schools in our district are defined as Title 1: over 40% of the students live in high-poverty and high-risk for low school achievement. The SPIRAL program serves students in every elementary school in the district. We know that when funding is cut, the children who most need support are the ones most affected

Out-of-the-box children become the adults who change the world when they have the right support in place

This 3-part donation-based workshop series will help every family who is struggling with a child that they aren't sure what to do with. It's a sigh of relief to gather together with other families who get the struggle you're dealing with. That community support is priceless. And all for a great cause!

You learn skills to support your family, your kid(s) get parents who *get* them, the students keep their awesome program to building their minds, the teachers keep their jobs, and I get to help my child's school. Its a win-win-win-win-win!

Don't keep a good thing secret! Please share this fundraiser far and wide to any family who has a child who is "too" anything: too much, too sensitive, too boisterous, too quiet, too smart for their own good, etc.

Can't attend live? No worries! All workshops will be recorded, with replays in both audio format, and video with closed captions, plus transcripts.

Thank you for supporting the mental growth and academic advancement of this vulnerable population.

If you're ready to donate and support the kids, head to the bottom of the page. Otherwise, let's dive into why your child needs you to know what I'm about to share...
What's this Workshop Series all about?

Ever marveled at their unconventional thinking or been baffled by their boundless enthusiasm?
Ever wonder why you got such a difficult, I mean, gifted child?

Nobody said it was going to be THIS hard…

Welcome to the world of parenting gifted and talented kids, where the journey is as unpredictable unique as they are.
What to Expect:
Decoding the Traits: Unpick the commonalities between giftedness, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence. No need for hero worship, but we'll dish about the likely ADHD quirks of Einstein and friends.

Beyond the Bell Curve: Let's talk about their "too muchness". Extreme intelligence, emotions, perspectives - it's a package deal. We'll chat about embracing their differences without sugarcoating.

Practical Guidance: No social butterfly transformations here. We'll discuss strategies to leverage their strengths and cushion the weaknesses. Because life isn't about fitting in; it's about finding one good friend who gets you.

Unmasking Moments: Dive into emotional regulation, criticism sensitivity, and the art of hyper-focus. Expect real talk about meltdowns, anxiety, and the necessity of safe failure.
Survival Kit for Parents:
Boundaries: Set clear, consistent limits that you can actually uphold to guide them in the right direction.

Executive Function Skills: Equip yourself and your child with the tools to manage the chaos in their minds, backpacks, and bedrooms.

Hey there, Parent of an Exceptional Child!
I’m Patricia Sung, Integrative ADHD Coach for Moms with ADHD. As a former middle school teacher with a GT certification, I’ve tailored lessons to thousands of students, and worked with hundreds more fellow ADHD brains as an ADHD Coach.

My years of classroom and coaching experience, along with being a former GT kid myself, I’ve found endless ways to help exceptional people be successful in all kinds of situations, from relationships to school to home. And I've got 9 years of parenting under my belt.

I’m full of contradictions: Adventure seeker and homebody. National Honor student who almost failed out of college. Love to start a new craft project but rarely finish one. Socially-anxious singer who loves to perform. Multi passionate business owner who hates going to bed but adores sleeping in. Introverted Top 5 Parenting Podcast Host.

I love the Both/And. The contradictions make us interesting.

I fully believe that you can learn to lead your child well while letting them be who they truly are. It’s uncomfortable and it’s a learning experience, especially for us parents. It’s not for the faint-of-heart. And it can be done.

I’m here to help you pump the brakes on the power struggle, pushing yourself to the brink of burnout and overwhelm. I’ll help you let go of the perfect, ideal situation that just.isn’t.happening, and embrace who your child is so they still want to talk to you when they’re 30.

Parents have enough to juggle as it is, but when you add an out-of-the-box child into the mix, everything is ten times more difficult. While life with an exceptional child is a lot, it’s not impossible - when you have the right tools and strategies that match how you both learn and flourish.
What You Walk Away With:
Practical Strategies: Concrete approaches to nurture your gifted child, minus the fluff and same-old advice that never works for your kid.

A New Perspective: See your kid in a different light - their unique brilliance and all.

Resilient Parenting: Stick to your values while guiding them to confident adulthood

Course Materials: Video replay, Private podcast audio, Slides, Transcript, and Closed captions. I've got your learning style sorted.

Payment information

You will not be charged for this purchase, but if you choose to make an optional purchase later, this card info will be used to complete that transaction!

Normally, 3 workshops, each paired with Q&A, would cost over $500. Please donate what you can, as all proceeds directly benefit the children & teachers through the Spring Branch Educational Fund supporting Bendwood School's SPIRAL program.

As our goal is to support the school as much as possible, I'm suggesting a $50 minimum, and hoping to see eccentric generosity.

For any families who take part in the Free or Reduced Lunch program, and/or for whom the minimum donation of $50 means that you would not be able to pay for basic necessities, such as housing or food, please use the code GT4ALL (no credit card necessary) to join free of charge. Write $0 in the donation box below before clicking Let's Do This. I would ask that your "payment" be sharing the link with another family.
