The Successful As a Mother 4th Annual Retreat on October 10-12, 2025:

A Getaway for Moms with ADHD

Limited to 14 participants. Only 8 spots left! Tickets will be available starting in May 2025. Payment plans available.

***including moms who suspect they have ADHD, but aren’t totally sure.

It’s time to take care of a very important person in the family: Mom

I see you, mama…

You plan the activities,
pack the snacks,
grab the bags,
drive the car, and
herd the cats.

And where are YOU on that priority list?

Your needs didn’t even make the list - even Cheeks, the pet gerbil, ate lunch! But Mom? You’re tossing back a handful of stale goldfish crackers in between drop off and the next pick up. A bubble bath and an unused coupon for a shoulder rub aren’t cutting it for your self-care routine.

  • You need a break

  • You need care. Not just because you’re the powerhouse who handles all the things, but because you’re a human. You’re worthy.

  • You matter

A group of us ADHD Moms (including those who think they have ADHD, but aren’t sure) are gathering together to relax, build our village, and get to know ourselves better, all while enjoying the peace that comes with no responsibilities.

Do you even remember what that feels like? To be totally free of all the weight and responsibility of parenting…

We’re going on a fun, relaxing weekend retreat where YOU will be cared for…by me. I’m taking care of all the details and planning. You spend the weekend without the burden of managing the schedule or the emotions of anyone else.

Take a deep breath. Laugh, enjoy each other’s company, and of course, learn about your ADHD. It’s happening this fall and you’re invited.

There is space for only 14 mamas… and you’re one of them!

What happens on a Successful As a Mother mom retreat?

This all-inclusive weekend getaway on October 10-12, 2025 with me (Patricia) means you’ll enjoy adorable tiny home accommodations, outdoor activities, and casual meals, all while making friends with moms who understand how you think and love you just the way you are.

Best of all, you don’t need to plan or decide one thing once you arrive on the grounds. I’m taking care of EVERYTHING for you! Every meal, every activity… you simply arrive at the location. The hardest decision you’ll make is whether or not you want more queso for your fajitas. (And the answer is always more queso. Unless you're lactose intolerant ;))

For the first 3 years, we spent the weekend in the city. New for 2025: We’re staying at the peaceful countryside Happy Goat Retreat, just outside of Houston. You have your very own tiny cabin with a comfy queen bed and no tiny feet kicking you in the face at 2:00 AM.

Your meals are shared around picnic tables with friends, so you have plenty of time for good conversations. All allergies are accommodated, because I’m taking care of you. All your meals will be peaceful, and you neither planned nor cooked them. You get to focus on the conversation. No cutting up food, washing dishes, or wiping up crumbs.

Obviously, there will be generous amounts of time to relax, hang out with me and the mamas, and have fun. You’ll be together with women who understand you – and that is what sturdy lifelong friendship is based on. We’re building our support network so that we can lean on other women who know what it’s like to struggle and overcome when you have ADHD.

Plus oodles of space to wander the tranquil grounds, cozy up in your tiny cabin to relax, or serenely sit by the fire and watch it dance. This weekend allows the luxury of slowing down, which is the key to decreasing so much of our frenetic nature and busy brains. You will leave feeling relaxed and peaceful after a weekend outdoors.

Take a deep breath and relax

You’ll also dive into understanding your ADHD brain in our Saturday discussion: I’m Too Much. I’m sure you’ve heard how you’re too much your whole life…. too sensitive, too loud, too dramatic, too picky, too [insert the adjective you’ve winced at for the last 20+ years].

I disagree. I love your too much. It makes you who you are.

How can we learn to accept this part of ourselves a little more this weekend?

You’ll learn how you can:

  • Appreciate what you have and what you’ve accomplished (instead of focusing on all the ways you’ve messed up)

  • Stop people pleasing and do what you know is right

  • Listen to your gut and trust yourself more

Self-care stuff that you’ll actually do, not just say you’ll do, and then never again look at the notes you doodled. IYKYK (if you know, you know).

Bring what’s confusing you about your ADHD and let’s talk about it. I’ll ADHD coach a volunteer or two, and we’ll dive into how to apply these supports for everyone. We’re deepening our understanding of who we are and how we function best.

And not to worry - the weekend is not so jam packed that you won’t have down time. White space is incredibly important for those of us with ADHD. You’ll still have time to relax, clear your head, and recharge.

Imagine arriving back home on Sunday, well rested and refreshed, fully present for your family for the first time in years.

Are you one of the 14 mamas that will experience the 4th annual Successful As A Mother weekend retreat for ADHD Moms?

Obviously! Let the relaxation begin!

You deserve a break, mama.

I started this retreat in 2022 because I was frustrated

That winter I spent 2 days alone in a tiny home in the woods and realized it was the first time I had been by myself in 2 years. TWO WHOLE YEARS.

It was the first time I could remember NOT being in charge of, well, everything. Being a mom means you don’t get off at the end of your shift. The schedule is 24/7.

In those 2 days of peace and quiet, there was no whining. No laundry. No watching the clock for when to start the next meal or snack. No homework battles. No pressure or responsibility weighing on my shoulders.

It was so peaceful.
I left feeling rejuvenated and recharged.
But also pissed.

Why isn’t anyone taking care of the moms?!? We’re white-knuckle holding the whole family together and we’re not okay.

The moms in my community needed someone to take care of them, too.  To provide the meals and the plan, and you get to just show up & enjoy yourself. You get to put down all the baggage and responsibilities you've been dragging around and just be yourself.

I sketched out the whole weekend in my bullet journal on a road trip while my husband drove and sanity checked my big ideas. The whole thing came together by the time we pulled into the driveway. We booked the hotel within 2 weeks and started spreading the word.

It was a smashing success. The first year 8 mamas came and rested. They relaxed. They talked. They hung out with moms who got it. They felt at home and accepted. It was beautiful medicine for my soul and I cried happy tears every night I returned to my room.

Now it’s year 4 and several moms have been every year. They know how valuable this time away is. (You’ll meet them when you come in October.)

Plus this year, we’re coming full circle and switching from fancy restaurants and city life to the serene countryside, on our very own tiny home retreat. The weekend has lots of space for free time; there is so much to do on the property.

We’ll be in nature, which is an excellent reset for busy brains. You can sit by the lake with your hot coffee and sip slowly. Alone. You’ll have peace and quiet to hear your own thoughts.

And lots of new friends so you’ll never be bored or lonely. Every year, the moms marvel at how quickly they jump into deep conversation and find their kindred spirits. There’s a balance of both serenity and time with the group, diving into how to take care of yourself as a mom with ADHD.

As a mom, you’re always taking care of everyone else. It’s time someone took care of you.

Your Itinerary:

  • Arrive Friday afternoon to check-in. You get the entire luxury tiny home to yourself because we know you want some downtime in between all the fun.

  • Meet your new crew in the “barn-dominium” as we gather together for a yummy meal.

  • After dinner, mingle with new friends in the adirondack chairs, play cornhole & darts, or head back to your tiny home to make the most of your fluffy pillow in peace & quiet.

  • Saturday morning, join us in the common area for breakfast as I share about our ADHD brains. No boring lectures! We’re practicing how to lean into who you are, even when you might be Too Much for some people. Plenty of time for coaching & questions. Snacks and drinks are provided, so you don’t have to make sure you’ve packed the pantry in your purse.

  • After a delicious lunch, we’ll have time for small group discussions.

  • The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax in your tiny home, take a nap, swim in the pool, or stroll around the grounds with a pitstop to feed the goats. Whatever the heck you feel like doing! Whoop whoop!

  • That evening, we’ll gather again for dinner, great conversations, and s’mores around the fire.

  • Sunday morning, before you check out at 11 AM and head back to real life, you can sleep in or sit by the lake with your coffee in hand. Continental breakfast is provided.

Get ready to recharge, relish a memorable weekend, and build your village of ADHD Mom friends. Reserve your all-inclusive ticket here.

When I asked the moms who came last year for their best advice to moms who want to come, they unanimously said, “Do it! And stay an extra day!”

Hey there, Successful Mama!

I’m Patricia Sung, Integrative ADHD Coach for Moms with ADHD.

I’m full of contradictions: Adventure seeker and homebody. National Honor student who almost failed out of college.  Loves to start a new craft project but rarely finishes one.  Introverted singer who loves to perform.  Multi passionate business owner who hates going to bed but adores sleeping in  Introverted Top 5 Parenting Podcast host.

INTP, Enneagram 1, C on the DISC, 6/2 Generator, Oldest Sister.

I’m here to help you pump the brakes on pushing yourself to the brink of burnout and overwhelm

Moms have enough to juggle as it is, but when you add ADHD into the mix, everything is ten times more difficult. While life with ADHD is a lot, it’s not impossible - when you have the right tools and strategies that match how you learn.

As a former middle school teacher, I’ve tailored lessons to thousands of students and hundreds of fellow ADHD brains. Between my classroom experience and treating my own ADHD over the last 20+ years, I’ve found innumerable ways to help people with ADHD be successful in all kinds of situations, from school to home to relationships.

This weekend, you’ll watch me coach, or be coached yourself, benefiting from all that experience, so that you can implement the next steps when you’re back home on Monday.

My coaching goes straight to the root of the issue. We’re not here to make surface level changes alone. We’re also not unearthing 30 years of past trauma & drama.

Coaching is forward focused. When you explain your obstacle, I’m looking at it through the filter of the 1000’s of ADHD’ers I’ve worked with over the past 15+ years. Then I distill all of that down to help YOU find the right solution tailored to you

You’re the expert on you and your family. I’m here to help you find the answer faster and easier, and give you the pump of nitrous to make it happen now. With a community of moms who have, or currently are, walking in similar situations, you’re never on this path alone.

Welcome to our private getaway, The Happy Goal Retreat!

14 luxury tiny cargo homes sit in the center of this secluded property surrounded by beautiful trees and 2 secluded lakes.

Ideally situated next to Lake Conroe and Sam Houston National Forest, the Happy Goat Retreat is a private, gated 14-acre scenic retreat with a countryside feel. The retreat is located about 45 miles (50-60 minute drive) north of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Earlier flights tend to be the most reliable, and I would recommend choosing a flight that arrives before 2:30 PM in order to arrive peacefully and check-in to your personal tiny home before dinner.

Premier outdoor amenities include a state-of-the-art heated swimming pool, fishing ponds, common gathering area, Pygmy goat play area, communal fire pit, and outdoor gaming area. As we will spend much of our time in nature, please pack clothing for the flexible Houston autumn weather.

Your tiny home is the epitome of glamping: an up-cycled cargo shipping container with modern, farmhouse-chic decor and modern comforts, including a kitchenette and full bathroom all to yourself. There are two tiny home options:

  • The Bijou: a 20 foot container home with a serene rooftop deck (8 available)

  • The Deluxe: a 40 foot container home with a private bedroom and living room, with a covered patio area (6 available)

As we are renting out the entire property exclusively for our group, there are only 14 tickets available: 6 Deluxe tiny homes and 8 Bijou tiny homes. Reserve your spot as soon as possible, so you don’t miss this rejuvenating weekend!

Frequently Asked Questions:

I’ve got A’s for your Q’s…

  • Many of the moms in our community do not have an official diagnosis. There are mamas who are in their 20s through their 70s, although many are in their 30s and 40s.

This weekend is designed to fit both ADHD and create space to rest from the overwhelmingly heavy load moms carry.

Joining this group of mamas who have brains like yours - and understand how much is on your plate - is mind-blowingly comforting, and the mamas are so kind and open with their lived experiences.

Plus what you learn during your weekend away, you can turn around and teach to your kids who have ADHD as well.

Because a healthy, thriving mom has the capacity to lead a healthy, thriving family.

  • A: No, every mama enjoys her own tiny home with all the peace and quiet you haven’t seen since before you had kids.

  • A: Two peas in a pod! I’ve had numerous food allergies over my lifetime. Explain your allergies in detail on the checkout page and I’ll make sure you have something that fits those parameters.

  • A: First, you know me! Sure it’s kinda awkward the first bit, but when you get a bunch of ADHDers in a room together, there’s rarely a dull moment. Second, my community of mamas are seriously the most understanding, amazing, welcoming, kind women. I’m not going to let anyone sit painfully alone for hours, just as you wouldn’t leave a fellow ADHD mama hanging all by her lonesome, either.

And remember, we all have ADHD brains! These are the kind of friends you invite into your messy house and they’ll shove the pile of laundry over to find a seat on the sofa without batting an eye. These are the kinds of friends that you admit you hate brushing your teeth and they offer what’s helped them get over that brain-vibrating toothbrush with zero judgment in their eyes. These are the kind of friends who tell you about their 8 year old’s meltdown this morning and you give them a big hug and listen without trying to fix it. This is the good stuff.

  • A: Sometimes we don't have funds for something. I get it.

One option is to set up a gift certificate payment plan to pay towards the next retreat over time.

Or get creative! Use that awesome brain of yours to problem solve and save up for the program. You’ll figure out how to save up the money for what matters: Taking care of yourself so you can take better care of your family.

I’ll never pressure you to do something you don’t want to do. I want every mama to be thrilled to be here with me. This retreat is all-inclusive, so from the minute you arrive at our location, I’m taking care of everything until it’s time to leave, including your meals and group activities. You don’t have to decide or plan anything on the itinerary. That brain freedom is worth every penny for the mom who decides and plans everything for her family.

When was the last time you did something for you? And as moms, we’ll always think of our kids first. If you’re still calculating how long ago that was, let’s remember that your family is only as healthy as Mama is. You spend money on everyone else, often forgetting that you are a part of the family, too.

When you arrive back home on Sunday with a full heart, rested soul, and slightly smaller bags under your eyes, you are able to serve your family so.much.better. They want a mom who loves herself as much as she loves her kids.

  • A: After you’ve purchased your retreat ticket, all you need to sort out is your transportation to the retreat location in time for Friday’s dinner and your return home on Sunday. That may include airfare, transportation from the airport to the hotel, or a road trip from your home to the hotel. Parking is included onsite at no additional charge.

If you'd like to ride share to or from the airport, please let me know. I'll set up a group text a few weeks before so you can connect with others who are traveling at similar times.

  • A: It’s always hard to be away from the people we love. Your family can and will be okay while you’re away. Think of how proud of themselves they will be for surviving the weekend without mom. Even if they eat cereal for every meal, hey - everyone ate, right?

It’s time to enlist your village. Who can you ask for help? You have people in your life who want to support you. They want you to be healthy and rested and the best version of you. There is a way you can accept help from the people around you that want you to be successful.

  • A: We all know how emergencies pop up, especially as moms. We also understand how contracts have been signed and payments made for reservations. You may consider purchasing trip insurance when you feel doubtful of your ability to attend.

As it gets closer, you might think “Why on earth did I decide to do this? Maybe I should stay home?” It’s totally normal to be scared or worried when you try something new, and you may want to back out at the last minute. Maybe you’re frustrated about all the preparations you’re doing in order to leave your family. Ugh. However, you made the decision to join this retreat for a reason - to take care of yourself. That priority remains regardless of outside circumstances.

Should you need to change your plans, we are not able to issue a refund as we have already signed contracts and paid deposits, etc., however you may apply 50% of your ticket price once your payment plan is completed, to a future Successful As A Mother retreat within two years of the retreat start date.

To request a cancellation, please email us at hello [at] patriciasung.com and we’ll confirm and process your gift certificate within 3 business days.

  • Tell me here and I’ll put you on the list to be the first one to know about the next year’s relaxing ADHD mom retreat.

  • The Bijou has a kitchenette and bedroom all in one room, like a studio apartment. The bathroom is a separate room on the right. And it has a rooftop deck at the top of a spiral staircase.

The Deluxe is twice the size of the Bijou. It has a separate bedroom and a living room, which includes the kitchenette and sofa. The bathroom is in the center of the tiny home and is a bit roomier. The bedroom has a small closet. In front, there is a larger, covered patio area.

There is one tiny home that is ADA compliant.

Feel free to send me an email and ask all of your questions.

Got a question I haven’t answered? Email me at hello [at] patriciasung.com and I’d love to help you out.

I can’t wait to hug you in person! See you in October!

Big hugs,

Patricia
